If you sleep best within the sound of water, come to Perch. Our coziest cottage sits above a small stream and a beaver pond. The fish fly everywhere in Perch, from the antique decoys and carvings to the delicate sea-green of the sitting area. A big bed nestles in the panelled sleeping alcove, given privacy by a hand-carved arch of wooden roping.

Watch the world from two windows, while relaxing in the large copper bath tub or have a drink by the handsome fireplace. The screened porch invites sitting, reading and dreaming (eighteen inch brookies, gamboling browns).
