The Guest Room

In summer, the north and south windows can be flung open to take in the garden. In winter, snow spangles the glass, and all you need is a little sherry (the decanter is right there) in front of the green marble fireplace.

Toile de Jouy covers the walls, the oak sleigh bed and frames the windows, making the room a year round bower of spring green and ivory.

Walk-through dressing room and sybaritic bathroom, with a view. Provencal elegance,
good old American ease.
