He is also the author of Too Big to Fail, the landmark bestseller that became the authoritative account of the 2008 financial crisis and was adapted into an Emmy-nominated HBO film, which he co-produced. Sorkin is also the co-creator of the drama series “Billions” on Showtime. An award-winning journalist for The New York Times and a co-anchor of CNBC’s Squawk Box, Sorkin is also founder and editor at large of DealBook, a news site published by the Times. He has won numerous journalistic honors, two Gerald Loeb Awards and an Emmy Award. He started writing for the Times in 1995, while still in high school.
