Taking their cues from Aviary Cottage, a guest favorite, these private, modern spaces are cantilevered into the trees 20 feet above ground, with beautiful, curvilinear decks that place you at eye level with the branches and the birds. Designed by Michaelis Boyd, best known for its work with the Soho House Group. At the direction of one of the owners, the interiors embrace the Japanese aesthetic wabi-sabi, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection in nature — such as the mushroom wood cladding distinguished by knots and crags. The calming natural palette is complemented by subtle tones of pink, lavender, and celadon, and the large windows frame fanciful views while allowing dappled sunlight to filter into the space. Romantic, whimsical, and luxurious, the Treehouses are for anyone who’s ever dreamed of waking up floating among the trees.
